Nina Navarro Tellez

Nina Navarro Tellez holds a MA in history from the University of Antwerp (2025) and is currently a student of the advanced MA in literary studies at the KU Leuven. As part of her degree, she will be completing an internship at AFROPRESS. During her research as a history student, she developed a special interest in empire, decolonialism, and feminism. She was able to unite her research interests in her MA thesis on the International Council of Women and its encounter with the South African Apartheid regime between 1960 and 1991. Her internship at AFROPRESS makes it possible to work closely with a research team and to further develop her interests in international anticolonialism and anti-apartheid.
